About Dr. Julie Chan
Dr. Julie S.M. Chan, ND, R.Ac. is a plant-based, Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor, Registered Acupuncturist, Intravenous Parenteral Therapist, and NES Practitioner. She offers comprehensive, quality healthcare to patients of all ages and practices many modalities including: Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Cupping, Homeopathic Medicine, Botanical Medicine, Holistic Counselling, Plant-Based and Holistic Nutrition, Lifestyle Medicine, Biotherapeutic Drainage, Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy, NES Therapy, Intravenous Parenteral Therapy, Vitamin Injections and Comprehensive Laboratory Testing.
Dr. Julie S.M. Chan ND, R.Ac. is a graduate from the University of Toronto with a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology, and then received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is a member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario and is the director of Liberty Wellness Clinic in Downtown Markham. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
Dr. Chan has been invited as a guest speaker at the AD(H)D Symposium, Native Child and Family Services of Toronto, Women’s Travel Network, International Educated Professionals Conference, Toronto Chinese Radio, Wylde on Health on CP24, WOWTV, Mind Matters on Roger’s TV, Toronto VegFest, and is also an instructor at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
She provides a warm, welcoming and friendly environment at Liberty Wellness Clinic for her patients and is committed to providing holistic, mind, body medicine to patients of all ages. Health areas that she treats include cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, women’s and men’s health, mental and neurobehavioural health issues, children’s health, pain and muscle disorders, neurological disorders, immune issues and allergies, weight management, dietary and lifestyle improvement. Dr. Chan has a special interest in plant-based nutrition and is a vegan practitioner herself.
